VALDOSTA — Fussell Tire Pros cut the ribbon on its new facility Friday morning in the Westside Business Park off St. Augustine.
The 21,750-square-foot, $2 million facility allows Fussell Tire to better serve commercial distribution and logistics vehicles.
Valdosta Mayor Pro-Tem Alvin Payton, along with other city and county officials, congratulated owner Coy Fussell on the new facility, highlighting Valdosta’s local logistics industry and its importance to the local economy, creating more than 1,000 jobs.
“We know that number will continue to grow as we continue to attract new distribution and warehousing centers in Valdosta,” Payton said.
The new facility has two pull-through bays and almost triples Fussell Tire’s space, allowing staff to provide more efficient, faster service.
“We do a wide range of automotive services as well as commercial services, emergency roadside services, pretty much anything a-z for your vehicle,” Fussell said.
